Solution isn't a perfect one. It assumes you find a group weighing 59gms in first iteration. What if you didn't ? There are 13 balls: Two groups of 6 + 1 extra ball. So there is probability that you need to do two weighings to pick group containing lighter ball after diving into groups of 6 context |
